With that new term feeling in the air as the students return to Dundee, everyone has the opportunity to learn something new with our autumn programme of Get Creative courses and workshops.

Taking us from October to December, our collection of evening and weekend classes provide plenty of chances for indoor fun and creativity as the nights get colder and longer. You don’t need any art experience to get involved, with most of our courses being perfect for beginners. If you do have experience of printmaking and want to take your skills further, our new Mokulito (Intermediate) course allows you to do just that.

We’re also helping you prepare for the festive season! Join us in Centrespace for our Made in DCA Print Studio Exhibition to browse and buy work from registered users of the Print Studio, come along to a Print Studio Tour to see where the work was created, or make your own seasonal prints at our Festive Letterpress workshop.

One-day workshops
These classes provide the perfect introduction to a process. From screen printing in the style of Andy Warhol and creating prints using Lino Cutting to relaxing with some Japanese Brush Calligraphy and getting to grips with Wood Engraving, spend a day getting creative with us.

Digital Suite
If you prefer to keep your hands clean of ink, then our Digital Suite is the place to be. Learn all about different Adobe packages, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, InDesign and Illustrator. Use our Get Digital offer and get 5% off each course when you book two or more of these courses at the same time.

Photography
Whether you prefer digital or analogue, we have classes to help you improve your photography skills. Get Off Auto is a weekend course that will teach you all about the settings on your digital camera. If you’d like to take it more retro, Fold-Your-Own Pinhole Camera is a great place to start and Black & White Photography gives you time in our traditional darkroom.

‘Tis the season
Our new Festive Letterpress class is the perfect way to add a personal touch to your seasonal greetings, plus you can create unique gifts as part of our other courses. Paint a special sign in Signwriting, publish a personal booklet in Zine! or create a beautiful print in Japanese Woodblock Printing.
